Favorite Lips for the Season!

As soon as we hit the last few months of the year, my makeup items change. The most exciting change for me is lips! I’m all about a nude lip, but adding berry and burgundy tones is just my absolute favorite. These shades just feel so sexy and cozy all at the same time. I wanted to share with you a few of my favorites for the season, including a new buy that I’m absolutely loving!

One of my favorite lipsticks for the season for the past two years has been Charlotte Tilbury’s Glastonberry. I saw this on Zoella and Teni Panosian, I believe, and have loved it the past two fall/winter seasons. It's absolutely gorgeous with a barely-there nude eye and lots of mascara. Another one that looks stunning with a barely-there nude eye + mascara is Estee Lauder's Extrovert, which is much deeper and more vampy than Glastonberry. I saw MUA Adam Burrell use this on the LittleMix girls and I was floored---I had to have it! When it comes to Christmas parties, there's no better makeup look for me than a gold, sparkly eye and red lips. This is where Urban Decay's 714 lipstick comes in. It's the perfect blue red hue that will make your lips pop... and adding a gold glittery eye makes it so festive.

For every day, I love nude shades. I've got two options here: a your lips but better shade and a darker brownish nude. My bareMinerals lipstick in the shade Honeybun is so buttery soft. It is perfect on those cold days where you want to wear a lip but don't want them to look dry. It also goes with any eye look. I also love darker nudes on days I want to wear warm tones, such as burgundies, deep browns, coppers, oranges and reds, etc. which happens to be all the rage right now. Marc Jacob's lipstick in J'adore is perfect for these because it pulls the look together. Pair it with a neutral blush and a beautiful highlight and you're all set.

These are just a few of my favorite varieties of lip color I love to wear during the fall and winter seasons. Spot any favorites? I have other lipsticks I adore and use, however they were limited edition and I wanted to include some shades that were still available in case anyone was interested in splurging.
