October 2017 Favorites!

Favorites posts are the posts I enjoy reading most so it's no brainer that i'm sitting here ready to share my favorite makeup and skincare products of this past month. Let's get right to it!

Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes.

Not gonna lie -- I didn't jump on this palette when it was released. In fact, I'm sure I waited about a month or so before buying. I spent lots of time youtubing reviews and tutorials, blogposts, seeing IG posts, and messing with it at Sephora before finally splurging. I just think its really nice. First of all, the artificial peach scent is nowhere near as strong as the previous peach products - which I detest. The scent makes me nauseous. Second, it just blends beautifully, especially with my favorite brush (mentioned later). Third, the colors are different from other matte palettes I own. I think it'll be perfect for all seasons.

Volition Oceanene Youth-Boost Gel.*

I haven't really mentioned these products a lot on my Instagram, but I am halfway through this precious tub of moisturizer. I absolutely love how hydrating it is without feeling oily or feeling like its too heavy. I also own the eye gel, but when I'm in a hurry or feeling lazy, this one applied under the eyes works just as well. It's a product I will re-purchase when I'm through with it.

Fenty Beauty Killawatt Highlight in Ginger Binge/Moscow Mule.

This is probably the most flattering highlight I own. No matter what look I do, it just fits perfectly. This has been one of the only, if not the only, highlighter which I have felt the desire to use daily.

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb.

This gloss is absolutely perfect. From the formula (long lasting, shiny, but not sticky), to the color - perfect for almost everyone that's used it-- its become my go-to gloss. I've had tons of co-workers asking me what I'm wearing when I use this. On days I want to put some more effort, I pair it with MAC Stripdown.

Real Techniques B05 Soft Powder Brush*

Holy moly... this brush is probably the best blending brush I own (sorry, MAC and every other brush I own). The brush is so soft- softer than any other RT brushes I own, and some of them are my work horses. It just picks up any color I use and softly blends it across my crease. I would definitely recommend it and I will be picking up more of these.

Fresh Sugar Lip Caramel Hydrating Balm.

Now I know that I hardly talk about this but I've been using it every morning and night. It's the balm I use to prep my lips before I apply a lip color before work, and its the balm I use over night. The smell is absolutely divine. I could eat it up.

Volition Oil Control Mattifying Mist.*

This mattifying mist does a great job of keeping my makeup on longer, plus it actually does what it says - it mists the liquid on your face. I'm actually about to run out (perfect time for the Sephora VIB 20 off sale!).
