Favorite Makeup Products for Summer!

Summer is quickly approaching, and with it, a change in our makeup choices, amiright?! I live in Texas----let's face it: summer approached our state in February and it is in FULL FORCE now in June, and has been for quite a while. We have heat index of 100+ on the daily and sometimes its hard to freaking breathe outside! lol. I wanted to share with you some of my favorite makeup products to pull out from my collection to use for summer:

Tinted Moisturizers, BB creams.

Let me start off by saying that if I have an event to go to where full coverage is necessary, I will definitely use my foundations. However, I am a HUGE fan of no foundation, so when its hotter than hot outside and I want to look like I tried, tinted moisturizers and bb creams are my choice. I have been loving my Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue for a few months now. Recently, I discovered Tarte Tarteguard Tinted Moisturizer due to Kathleen Lights and Allana Davison's recommendation. I think both provide just a small amount of coverage- enough to make you look put together without the heavy feeling of a foundation.

Bronzing.

I am all about bronzing in the summer time. For me, summer makeup looks = bronzed looking skin. My all-time favorite bronzer is the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil because its the perfect shade for my skin. I can go crazy with a big fluffy brush and never look overdone.

Stick Highlighters.

I am so lazy about my makeup application in the summer. Highlighters in stick form allow me to use my favorite tools to apply them: my fingers. I just think the less stuff I have to carry with me and/or use, the better. Plus, if I'm feeling extra lazy, they make great eyeshadow for the lids. Pop your bronzer in the crease and voila! You are done. In my YouTube video, I sported the MILK Makeup Highlighter in LIT, and let me tell ya: its lit.

Cream blushes.

Like I said before, i'm lazy. Cream blushes allow me to use my little grubby fingers to apply the product without having to reach for a brush. I may have to reach for a tissue though, since my fingers will be full of the previously mentioned products. My favorite cream blushes that I currently own are the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate for cheeks.

Cream Eyeshadow!

Okay, i keep mentioning cream products and that's because THEY ARE SO EASY TO USE!!! Honestly, just pick a color you like, swipe, and GO! My favorites have been the new launch of the CHANEL Ombre Premiere Cream Shadows (I am wearing terra brûlée in my video). I also have been loving my new Giorgio Armani Eye Tint in the shade Camel Smoke... it is honestly so easy to use.

LIP PRODUCTS!!!

It was hard to pick just some, because any lipstick could work, i think. I prefer to bring out lipsticks in pencil form because they're easy to throw on and won't melt as easily in hot places (i have had lipsticks melt on me during a short trip to the park, etc. during the summer). Some of my favorites include the Bobbi Brown art sticks, NARS lip pencils, and of course, my new found love: LANCOME MATTE SHAKERS!!
