Oh my gosh! I cannot believe I haven't posted on here since January, and here I am, nearly 5 months later and ready to give blogging another shot. I recently got the courage to post my first ever YouTube video! It was my favorites for the month of May and I decided that I would make a post to follow along with it, in case anyone prefers to read rather than watch videos. I don't want to put too much pressure on myself, so I will reserve both blogging and youtube for when I am feeling inspired. Anywho, let's get on with my favorites!

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzing Powder.

Would you believe me if I told you I have owned this bronzer for at least FOUR years? It comes with 10g of product so its a hefty one. I have actually used up bronzers over the years but this one has been hard to finish up. I guess that's a good thing because its one of my favorite bronzers, ever. It gives the perfect color to use on my face without having to be too conscious about it. I'm not huge on contouring so I use a huge brush to apply this in a 3 motion and on top of my nose and chin. I absolutely love it and will continue to repurchase it.

NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer.

I may have found my second favorite concealer, ever. I am a huge fan of it being just a tad thicker than your usual wand-concealers. I use a Sephora Pro Flat Concealer brush to apply the product on the inner corners of the eye and use my fingers to push it into my skin by tapping it. I love it so much! I tried the creamy concealer but it settled into fine lines even though I would set it right away. This one does none of that.

Face Palettes.

I have been such a huge fan of face palettes over the past month (or have i just been really lazy this month?! lol!) and they are seriously so easy to use when I'm getting ready in the morning. My mornings consist of exercising, walking my dog, and making breakfast and I don't have much time to apply makeup, etc. Since these face palettes have several shades, i make them work for both face AND eyes. In particular, my favorites have been the BECCA x Chrissy Teigan palette and the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Palette in Beauty Glow! I recommend both whole heartedly.

Nude Lipsticks.

It's no secret I am a huge fan of nude lipsticks. They are just two parts sexy and sophisticated and I am always on the hunt for the latest and greatest. My Hourglass Lip Style in Futurist has been one of my go-to's. On me, its more of a pink nude and I love the glossy application and the eventual settlement into a satin-type of lipstick (does that make sense?) My Bare Minerals Gen Nude lipstick in Honeybun has also been a favorite. That one is more of a brownie-nude and it has also lived in my purse along with my Hourglass. When i'm not in the mood to play up my lip, these have been my picks over the rest of my lipsticks (and i have a ton). My most recent purchase is also a favorite: Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Golden Sand. This one needs a lip liner (Subculture, by MAC) but it is just as stunning as the first two. I have posted several Insta Stories over the month of these lipsticks and I hope you got to see them if you're coming from my instagram page.

Night Time Serums/Oils.

I have made it a mission of mine to focus more on my nighttime routine this year. I have my morning routine down and I cannot apply any type of makeup without first having applied my eye cream and moisturizer. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about my nighttime moisturizer/eye cream. I tend to forget because I'm so sleepy, etc. However, these two products applied together have been great and I liked them together enough to have remembered every day in the month of May! Yayyyy! They are the Bare Minerals Skin Longevity Vital Power Infusion (1 pump) mixed together with my Korres Wild Rose Rose Sauvage oil (2 drops) patted into my face and neck. I absolutely love that it instantly hydrates, leaves my pillowcase oil free, and I wake up feeling refreshed. They aren't marketed as nighttime serums but I use them for that purpose and have been happy. I definitely recommend them, even if you're in the market for day serums.

Atalier Cologne Orange Sanguine.

Not much to say here other than its citrus-y, smells like orange, and it will make you smell so fresh!! I'm a fan, my husband's a fan, and my friends are fans!!

Cotarde Face With a View Concentrated Serum.

This cream is a little thicker and marketed as a night time cream and perfect for those who put their skin under harsh conditions. I have been using this as my daytime moisturizer and it has worked wonders! Like i previously mentioned, my mornings are pretty full, I sweat, I walk my dog outside with my face sweaty, etc. and I'm sure lots of dirt and gunk get stuck on there before I am able to shower. This cream smells really good and I use it after washing my face in the mornings. This product was actually sent to me complimentary by Octoly and Cotarde to review. I haven't really talked much about it but have been completely happy with it.
