Self Made Anastasia Quad

You know how it goes: I had Macy's money to spend. Being very indecisive about what to spend it on, I decided to create my own quad from the Anastasia Beverly Hills line because, lets be real, I need more eyeshadow like I need a bullet to my head.
After picking and choosing, going back and forth between colors, looking up hashtags on Instagram, checking Temptalia and other blog sites, these four shadows were the winners.

I nervously waited for them to arrive in the mail and when they did, boy, was I blown away.
I have to say that the first three colors: Glisten, Comfort, and Truffle are so creamy, buttery and feel like the shadows found in the Modern Renaissance and Master Palette by Mario. Comfort is theonly shade to kick up some powder, however I just tap the brush right onto the shadow to reuse. The fourth shade, Chocolate, feels a little ruddy when swatched on the skin with your finger, however, applies exactly like the other shadows when used with a brush.
They apply like a dream and are easy to blend out. I've had no problems using brushes like the MAC 239, 217 and Target brand Up&Up brushes. I do use my Sonia Kashuk Eye on Neutral palette to complete eye looks, however I've also worn these alone and I don't feel that my eye look feels "incomplete," just a little shimmery. The shimmer isn't too bad, as you can tell from the swatches.
I have been trying really hard to use other shadows but I find myself staring longingly at this quad. I have, on several occasions, switched up my makeup midday in order to continue using these.
I used to hoard all her shadow releases but after Modern Renaissance & MP by Mario, decided to declutter all the others because they just weren't up-to-par with her newer formula. These shadows must have gotten a makeover, because they perform spectacular.

If you are shopping around for some Anastasia shadows, I highly recommend these four. Since I accumulated more Macy's money, they went straight to another two ABH quads. Hopefully they don't disappoint, and I'll be back to blog about them and provide you with thoughts.
Thank you so much for reading and have a great day!
Much Love,
Denise
